Photos from Howl-O-Ween 2007, Part One

The photos were taken at the store where I work. No formal permission was obtained, but after all, these folks were competing in a public place.
In previous years Corporate had required that we judge the costume contest strictly via applause. What this meant was that people with no costuming skills but many cooperative friends could come and win all the costume prizes. This year since Corporate was noticeably silent on the topic, I suggested that we use real judges (and judgment) and rate the costumes. All employees who were present had a vote in choosing their favorite costumes. I submit for your enjoyment:

Ever since 9/11, everyday heroes such as firemen have been popular costumes.

Insect costumes are always popular with smaller dogs.

Miss Paris wore a t-shirt that said "Boo!"

Just as last year, non-dogs were entered into the contest as well.
